Visit Marie Stopes for your family planning needs – Ms Anne Coolen | The Country Director for Marie Stopes Ghana has urged women to visit Marie Stopes for their family planning needs. She was talking at the occasion of the relaunch of the Kokomlele in Accra.

She explained to participants at the re-launch that Marie Stopes existed to help the government to decrease the numerous unsafe abortions that confront it and to increase access to information on sexual and reproductive health.

The Marie Stopes has been providing family planning services in the country since 2006

Ms Anne Coolen did not miss words, but bluntly said “visit Marie Stopes for your family planning needs”

She said research has shown that four percent of moms who kicked the bucket while conceiving was as a result of risky fetus removal therefore, it had become critical to keep it from occurring.

Ms Coolen noted that it was for this reason that the center promoted family planning to ensure access to preferred contraceptive methods for women and couples in the country.

She said this was fundamental as it would guarantee the prosperity and independence of ladies while supporting the wellbeing and advancement of the society.

The Country Director asked all, particularly ladies and men to realize that family arranging was accessible and that it was essential to be ensured while engaging in sexual relations.

She appealed to ladies to visit the center for all data on family planning and find out about the scope of delivery methods to counteract any type of risky and unsafe abortions.

Marie Stopes Ghana has built a strong reputation for consistently delivering quality, voluntary family planning services across the country and is bent on expanding its services.

This according to the director would largely help to make young ladies well informed and to make informed decisions concerning their reproductive and sexual health.
